I have also had near misses on the highway as well. Accidents can happen to anyone, at any where, and at anytime. Some are avoidable and others are not. I am reminded of an accident I did have where I was headed down the highway and with out warning a lady pulled across me and I hit her in the side. I wasn’t hurt really bad. I only had a few scratches that would heal with time. But I was lucky just the same. You see, I was barely two months pregnant and when I think about it now I realize that I could have lost my son but the LORD GOD protected us and saw otherwise and all ended will. Near misses and sometimes not so near misses…through it all. I too thank GOD for his grace and mercy. To God be the glory. Even now I still thank God for helping me to avoid fatal accidents. I too sometimes thank the Lord that he allows the person in front of me to drive just a bit slower or for me to get caught behind the school bus because he could be protecting me from something worse down the road. In the end, GOD knows what’s best for me.
Well i went to see the play “The Color Purple” this week, and i was blown away… But something happen to me this morning, that i have to share, and i feel like i have to share it now.. “RIGHT NOW, RIGHT NOW”, ok enough of The Color Purple references.
So i got up this morning, felt like a normal day. In the usual rush to get into work early so i can leave early. I get dressed and get my daughter packed in the car. On our way out of my development a white cat crosses in front of the car. Slowly, very slowly, it walked across the street. I got the over whelming feeling god was trying to telling me something, this is not a day to rush, to be alert and to take my time. So i continued, and in front of the entrance to my Daughters school a squirrel ran out in front of me, he was zigzagging like a nut. A smile came over my face as i thought, “Yes, Lord i hear you”. So i droped my daughter off and headed to work. Still on the defence. No texting, calling, nothing but wathching the road and taking my time. So i get to an intersection where i have to make a left. The Green left arrow was lit, and i was a good 7 -10 car lengths from the light, with no cars in front of me. Normally i would press on the gas to make the light, but i didnt, i couldnt something halted my foot. I neared the intersection, and when i was with in about three car lengths from the intersection, a large white pick up truck ran the red light. He was coming from my right and making a left. He was laughing and looking in the seat behind him. Wow..
Wow… God was there. He warned me, and he slowed my foot. If i would have raced up there i would have been in a very very bad accident. I could have either hit him head on, or he hit me head on. I coul, not be here today to type this to you.
To God goes the glory, and the glory goes to God.
I challenge you to not get caught up in yourself and your routines, and look for those signs God sends your way. Look at how if you didn’t get stuck in traffic, or your child didn’t make you late to work. What may have happened. We dont see how he works, but i assure you he is working in your favor. Today i thank Jesus for another day, for all my limbs fully functioning, and the breath of life he has given me.
Have you ever had something like this happen to you. Please share by adding a comment.
My husband wrecked his car of 11 years. I thank God he was not hurt at all from the accident. I thought he would have trouble letting go but to my surprise it was me that had the most trouble which is strange considering I never drove it because it was a 5 speed. Through the years he enhanced the car’s features by putting new tires/rims on it, lowering it to the ground, painting…well you get the picture.
Last night, I went to bed with it on my mind and thinking how much I would miss it but the holy spirit spoke to me saying,
“You and your husband had the car for a long time now. Let it go and let the parts be a blessings to someone else in need.”
Then, a sense of peace came over me and I fell asleep. Sometimes God only allows us to have things in our possession for a set time and then it’s time for us to release it. He may be trying to take us to the next level in our lives or bless someone else.
Indeed, there is a time for everything and I gently heard the spirit of the Lord speak to me telling me, let go, it’s okay, it’s time.
Good Morning.
Yes it is a good morning. It is a God Morning.
God Mornings, allow you to start Anew.
Anew Day, Anew Heart, Anew You.
Step into this day, leaving yesterday behind.
Step into this day, forgiven of your sins.

Leaving all those bad things behind and walking in him.
Anew Day, Anew Heart, Anew You
Step out of, the work day blues.
Step out of, the heart ache of yesteryears.
Step out of, the rut you live in.
Leave all that behind for today is a new day.
Anew Day, Anew Heart Anew You.
Children of God. Lets start this day Anew!
Whether you are anxiously awaiting deliverance, or the next great thing god has for you. You are So Blessed.
-Be Blessed!
I am so blessed.
I am blessed with struggle,
I am blessed with problems,
I am blessed with limitations,
I am so blessed.
Sure i could have wealth,
I could have good looks.
I could have everything that i want..
But then what do i have.
Things that will be destroyed by time.
Fear of loosing all that i have.
Faith in stuff, faith in myself, and less in my fathers house.
Where things cannot be ravaged by time, and peace, true peace resides.
I will take the trials of this life any day, to find everlasting peace in my fathers house.
I will leave you with this verse, and let you decide what it means.
I assure you my friends you are so blessed.
The Rich Young Man
17“Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.”
18“Which ones?” the man inquired.
Jesus replied, ” ‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, 19honor your father and mother,’[d] and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’[e]”
20“All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”
21Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
22When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
23Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
25When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
27Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?”
28Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother[f] or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. 30But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.
16Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”
I was watching this show called the Actor’s Studio on the Bravo Channel and Michael J. Fox was the guest. He said something very interesting. He stated…
“If everyone got in a circle and put their problems in the center and were ask to select a different problem, they would each end up taking back their own.”
I guess he was saying that once you saw everyone else problem you would realize that yours wasn’t so bad after all.
Sometimes every now and then God points that out to us too. We think we have it horrible until we come across another person who is dealing with an issue much worse. Would you trade problems with someone else if you God gave you the opportunity?
Lets learn to trust and have faith in our Saviour. No matter what the problems are in our lives (big or small)…lets know without a doubt HE will solve it. It will come to pass.
Tell the Devil No!
No! You can have no more of my time.
No! More of my energy.
No! More of my peace.
You devil are powerless.
With each strike your weapons dull,
You cannot break this spirit.
The lord is my sword, my shield, my protector and comforter.
You cannot break me.
Cause in me is the spirit…
The Spirit of God!
Didnt you know Devil.
With each strike, you bring me closer to him.
He that loved me before i loved myself.
So do what you do Devil, cause the lord will see me through.
Devil…
I got No more time for you..
I got No more energy for you.
and the peace of god will not be stolen from me.
So devil, just get use to hearing the word, “NO!”
Be Blessed.
In everything in life we must seek out God. We must seek out Jesus! He never promised there will be no bad in our life, but he did say he would grant us peace, and send us a comforter. I tell you friends seek him out. Here is my prayer, when i need help…
Be Blessed.
Lord
I need you to guide my steps, i cant do it by myself.
Lord i need you…
I need you now…
I need your guidance…
I need your helping hand…
I cannot stay in this place, in this situation…
I need your grace and mercy to guide me…
I will take the first step…
I will put in the time…
I will put in the energy…
I will do everything in my power to allow every opportunity to come my way, and know that when that opportunity comes up, the one you have for me.whether it is here or there. You will make it happen, cause you knew what today was going to bring before i woke up this morning…
Lord grant me the wisdom to learn the lesson that i need to learn from my current situation, that this lesson can be over
and i might move back into a place of peace.
Under you oh lord
This i pray.
In Jesus name.. Amen
<Just know, Jesus is better than the post office. He always comes on time.>
Riding in my car earlier this week I was suddenly stopped when the light quickly changed to red and I was thinking…everyday we depend on traffic lights to get us where we need to be, to tell us when to stop and when to go and even when to slow down. We trust those traffic lights 100 percent to get us where we need to go on the highway day in and out. So how come we dont trust God to do the same for us in our walk through life and in the ordeals we face? Can you imagine waking up one (entire) day without traffic lights to guide us from place to place? Some of us would never make it to our destinations.
But lets take a look at God, traffic lights fail. We know this to be true when there is a power outage or storm. But unlike them, God never fails to get us where we need to be. If we rely on him 100% to guide us where we need to be in life HE will do just that if we ask, sometimes without asking HE does it anyway because HE loves us completely.
Lets learn to trust and have as much faith in God for our lives… the same way we do those traffic lights. Think about it the next time you are sitting at the light knowing by faith it will turn green.
